Yummy Northwest
Yummy Northwest was designed to bring the edible wonders of the Inland and Pacific Northwest to a broader audience. It began as a small, printed newsletter in March 2003, then went online in .pdf format, and now is being expanded to fill its own Web site.
Covering Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington State from an office currently located in Montana, Yummy Northwest aims to simply report on what's out there. If it's edible, we want to find it and tell you about it.
We hope that wherever you live, you will enjoy reading about this region. And wherever you set your table, we urge you to seek out locally produced food and to eat with joy.

Mary happily immerses herself in the written word. Reading, writing, editing, and indexing are much more than jobs to her. When not sitting at her computer, Mary is out enjoying the bountiful Pacific Northwest and everything edible in Montana.
Leslie Phillips, copy editor
Leslie loves working with words; "will copyedit for food" is her motto. If the food is chocolate, that's a terrific bonus! Exploring the world of collage and paper and fiber arts helps keep her sane.
Gina Lozier, The Growing Gardener
Gina's passion for nature was kindled while nestled in the tall peaceful reeds along the shores of Lake Washington, cloud watching and listening to birds. Decades later, Gina continues to cloud watch, bird watch, plant watch, and learn more and more about nature and its ways.
